Faculty can initiate and complete assessment tools at any time in order to assess residents.
Log in to Elentra.

- From the Dashboard, click the green 'Start Assessment/Evaluation' button on the right side of the screen.

- Select a resident. Begin to type a name to limit the list of options. Hover over a resident name, to see their name, and photo (if uploaded).

- Set a date of encounter.

- If a learner is enrolled in two programs, you'll need to identify which program you are assessing them for.

Select an EPA. For a reminder on what is included in a specific EPA click the black question mark to link to the EPA Encyclopedia. Users can easily navigate the list of EPAs by applying preset filters including Current Stage EPAs, Current Rotation EPAs, and Priority EPAs. Click on a filter title to apply it. In this example the Priority EPAs filter is being applied. (If your institution is not using the rotation scheduler you'll only see the Current Stage EPAs filter.)

After an EPA is selected, all the available assessment tools will be displayed. Search for a specific tool by beginning to type in the search field. Note the small clock in the top right of each tool. This is an estimate of how long the form will take to complete based on the experience of other users. Click 'Preview Assessment' to see the contents of the assessment tool. Click 'Begin Assessment' to begin.

Fill in the form and click 'Save as Draft' to save and complete later, or 'Submit' to end your use of the form. Once completed the form will immediately display on the learner's CBME dashboard under the appropriate EPA.
