- Deleted email messages are only available for 30 days from when the message was deleted from the Deleted Items folder. After this time the deleted message can no longer be recovered.

- Messages will be restored to the folder they were deleted from.
- Received date and time for restored messages will be the original received date and time.

| - Open Outlook.
- Click on the Folder tab in the menu ribbon along the top of the window.
- Select Recover Deleted Items from the Clean Up section.
- Select the email messages that need to be recovered.
- Make sure Restore Selected Items is chosen at the bottom of the window.
- Click on Ok.

| - Log in to https://outlook.com/usask.ca. Please ensure that you add @usask.ca to your NSID username, e.g. abc123@usask.ca.
- Click on the Deleted Items folder in the left-hand menu.
- Click on Recover items deleted from this folder.
- Select each message to be restored by clicking on the circle beside the message.
- Click on Restore.
- Verify that the message has been restored to the proper folder.
