Step-by-step

  1. Open a new browser window in InPrivate or Incognito mode and browse to https://myaccount.microsoft.com/

Using a Private or Incognito mode for your browser prevents any existing credentials from affecting this sign-in event.

  2. You may be asked to login. You will either be asked to enter your NSID@usask account, or it may be listed for you to select.

  3. Click 'Sign in another way'.

  4. You will be presented with additional options for accessing your main MFA settings, that include any additional devices or MFA options you set up.

If you do not have any other MFA options, please contact IT Support.

  5. Click the method above that will most easily and quickly gain you access.

  6. Verify access when prompted.
    • For example, if you choose a call option, you will receive a phone call which will prompt you to hit the pound key (#) to verify.

You will now have access to your Multi-Factor Authenticator settings page, where you can change the preferred option, phone number information or set up another device.
