Access to UnivRS is currently open to faculty, graduate students, staff and other members of the university community. A system user needs to hold some type of affiliation with the university to gain access to the system.
Many members of the university community are automatically granted access to a Researcher user role by default, as long as some active employment relationship exists. Similarly, graduate students will automatically be granted access to a Student user role by default. Unit heads in departments, centres and colleges/schools, are automatically granted the appropriate Approver user roles.
Should any member of the research community or any unit approver, require access which has not been automatically created, please send a request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
A number of administrative user roles have also been developed to facilitate workflow and support research. Should anyone require access to one of these roles, please see below:
The management of access to UnivRS is guided by the UnivRS - Access Management procedures document.
