This section of the Standalone MESH Wiki contains important information for Standalone MESH users. The section provides a brief summary of the new features of MESH 1.3, a detailed description of files (and their format and example files) that are required to run the MESH model, the MESH output visualization tools, and a quick guide on how to prepare the MESH drainage database file using freely avaialabele data from the GeoBase website. The section also contains description of the autocalibration tools, Documentation and others.
Getting Started
MESH Input Files
The MESH model requires forcing data that include precipitation (either as total or liquid and solid precipitation separately), air temperature, wind speed, short wave radiation, long wave radiation, relative humidity and surface pressure. In addition to the forcing data the model requires three initialization files (.ini), four other input files (.txt), the MESH drainage database file (.r2c), and output directories to run the MESH model. Unless symbolic links are provided, all of these files ne
MESH Output Files and Visualization Tools
This page contains description of MESH output files and tools (scripts and excel tempelates) that can help users visualize their output. Ideally, other users will contribute any new visualization tools that they develop.

Forcing Datasets for MESH
During the course of the CCRN project, the CCRN project team downloaded, processed and created several datasets for running MESH. This page documents the locally available datasets and scripts developed to extract the data for a sub-basin, provided it is within the domain of the datasets.
